Flowers for Helen was created from a love of nature, beauty, and the simple joy that flowers bring. The idea blossomed while my family and I spent 18 months living in a picturesque and charming town in Germany.
There, I experienced the magic of watching the seasons unfold. After the stillness of a long, snowy winter, I was captivated by the vibrant spring flowers emerging from the garden, bringing colour, hope, and new life. This time allowed me to truly observe nature’s changing rhythm throughout the year, reminding me that nature is constantly gifting us beautiful moments.
Before pursuing my passion for floristry, I spent many years working as a critical care registered nurse. During that time, I came to understand the profound role flowers can play in life’s significant moments. They offer comfort, express love when words are difficult to find, celebrate joyful occasions, and honor precious memories. As a nurse, I helped carry people through some of life’s most emotional experiences, which has shaped how I approach my floral designs today.
Flowers for Helen is built on the belief that every arrangement, should be created with care, meaning and heart.
